Odyssey are providing the Lead Consultant Role in this complex infrastructure led redevelopment of this former army barracks. The redevelopment is to be phased over a number of years as the army vacate the site. The scheme objective is to create a new ‘Surrey’ village including 1,200 homes, a new school, sports hub, village green and village centre. Odyssey are instructed by Skanska to design and enable a full surface water drainage and attenuation system across the whole site, a new Spine Road through the development, a complex system of interconnecting roads, cycle tracks and footpaths, a full foul water system and connection to existing sewers, sewer diversions and reinforcements, a number of Section 278 off-site junction improvements, site-wide travel plan and travel plan coordinator role, implementation of planning conditions and Section 106 obligations.
